Term 2, Class 1 (class 9 overall - process writing pt.4)

We are still working on our Process (How To...) essay to clearly teach classmates how to do something useful for them.... You have 1 more week to finish this essay - it will be due next Thursday before class time. (Next class is online. However, you must take the class during classtime. You will read each other's essay to make comments on Google Docs.)

2. Editing writing flow

3. Preview the homework

HOMEWORK:  

Finish your (How to... ) essay* on Google Docs & share it on this file before the next class. 

Reminders:

1. The writing steps are brainstorm (& research?) > write > edit, edit, edit > share.

2. While writing & editing consider the grade form. 

3. Remember that your goal is to make the audience (classmates in your group) able to learn something useful. They should want to learn, and be able to do it well after reading. We will write comments and vote for the most useful essay next class.

4. Next class is online. However, you must take the class during classtime. You will read each other's essay to make comments on Google Docs. 

5. Since you have your essay due, you do not need to write your blog this week if you are caught up.
