Term 2, Class 2 (class 10 overall) Sharing Process (How to...) Essay

Make sure you have shared your (How to... ) essay here. 

1. Check the grade form here, and remember what we learned about good writing.

2. Read the essays of all the classmates in your group by clicking the link here (make sure you are logged in to Okadai Gmail - if not, you cannot make comments). After you read the essays in your group, you only need to read essays of topics you are most interested in. (To check the topic, click the ID link once to preview it.) Read & comment until 5 minutes left in class (you should read and comment for at least 40 minutes).

3. Make comments on the essay with your reaction ("This is a useful topic for me because..." "I will try this suggestion." "Another tip I know is to....") or questions for things you want to know or do not understand ("How do it do this?" "How much?"). You can also make suggested edits to the grammar, spelling, word use, format, writing style, etc. Students who make helpful or interesting comments will get extra participation points!

4. Vote for the best essay you read: HERE 

Homework:

Revise your essay by Wednesday at noon. When revising it, consider:
- the comments & suggested edits by classmates & the teacher. (I will give feedback on the first half of each essay during class or around class time. You should should accept the suggestions or not - click ✓ for accept or X for reject. Also, learn from these mistakes and try to fix the end of your essay.)
- the grade form
- what we learned in class
- the best essays of your classmates. Was your essay as good? If not learn from those essays in terms of style and content, and improve yours.

I will grade your essay sometime after Wednesday. So, you have until then to revise your stories. Do your best!!
